You may often have to replace LCD Display Screen of Mobile Phone
when repairing mobile cell phone. For this, you will have to Desolder
and remove the LCD Display Screen or PDA of a mobile phone /
Smartphone and again Solder back and replace it with a new LCD
Display Screen or PDA
There are two types of display screens of any mobile phone:
１．Connector type.
２．Soldered to the Mobile Phone PCB.
To replace a connector-type LCD Display Screen is very easy.
Just disassemble the mobile phone and remove the connector of the
display. Replace the faulty screen with a new one by inserting the
connector to the PCB.
You will need following Mobile Phone Repairing Tools and Equipments to
Replace LCD Display Screen of Mobile Phone:
１．Liquid Flux.
２．Soldering Iron
３．Desoldering Wire.
４．Solder wire.
５．Tweezers.
６．Precision screwdriver.
７．Mobile Phone Opener.
１．Disassemble the mobile phone using precision screwdriver and mobile opening tool.
２．You will see the display soldered to the PCB of the Mobile Phone.
３．Apply flux to the solder joints.
４．Using soldering iron, heat all the solder joints. Be careful while using soldering iron.
５．Using tweezers or hand, gently pull out the display once the solder starts melting.
６．Using Desoldering wire and soldering iron, remove all the extra solder paste from the PCB Track.
